Unlike miners that use built-in fan cooling, the antminer s19 hyd series uses liquid cooling to prevent damage caused by overheating bitcoin miners. Bitmain has produced other hydraulic machines in the past, but these specialized machines generally have limited production volumes and are not popular among the miner community due to their numerous working parts and high prices.
In terms of popularity with many miners, after the official launch, antminer s19 hyd and s19 xp hyd will become the two most powerful bitcoin mining machine models on the market in 2022. Below are the main differences between the two models.
Antminer S19 Pro Hydro Profitability
Starting from the basic parameters, compared with the Antminer s19 pro hyd, the Antminer s19 xp hyd has improved by about 25% in function and efficiency, and also increased its profit value by about a quarter in terms of computing power and energy efficiency.
And in terms of computing power output and efficacy, both models far exceed other Bitcoin models in the antminer s19 series.

When these rigs start mining operations later this year in the fourth quarter, they will be by far the most profitable bitcoin miners on the market.

Antminer S19 XP Hydro and Antminer S19 Pro Hydro prices
Of course, profit comes at a price.
The current futures order price for Bitmain’s Antminer S19 Pro Hyd is $15,048 per unit ($76/TH), while the Antminer S19 XP Hyd is priced at $19,890 ($78/TH).
The minimum order quantity (MOQ) for the S19 Pro Hyd is 198 units (for those keeping an eye out, the MOQ is closer to $3,000,000). But for the S19 XP Hyd, Bitmain does not set a MOQ for it, but it does require bulk orders. The Bitcoin miner maker expects the order could take up to a year to fill, as its approximate delivery dates are October 2022 and March 2023.
Like Bitmain’s S9 Hyd, it’s unlikely that these new models will find their way into the hands of retail miners. Not only because this model requires more maintenance and other costs than ordinary air-cooled models, but the output of the S19 pro Hyd Miner will also be limited compared to other S19 models. Additionally, the bulk of the order volume will be skewed towards the larger institutional miners, as they have the cash to pay for bulk orders.
